OUR LEATHERS
Our bags and accessories are mainly made of cowhide leather, known for its strength and durability. The different types of leather worked by our artisans in Italy are:
• Full-grain vintage leather: full-grain fleur leather that is washed then dyed. This treatment gives it suppleness and an inimitable touch. Resistant and durable.
• Smooth leather: regular surface, which develops a patina over time, sensitive to scratches.
• Grain leather: naturally textured, resistant to scratches and daily use.
• Embossed leather: textured leather with patterns for a decorative and distinctive effect.
• Brushed leather: leather split worked to create relief and an original look.
• Metallic leather: iris finish given to leathers to achieve glossy shades. Very sensitive to scratches.
• Leather split (suede): leather from the inner part of the hide, more supple, with a soft and velvety finish, more delicate to maintain.
• Nubuck: leather sanded on the surface, soft and velvety to the touch.

Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, humidity, or heat. Use a specific waterproofing spray to protect the leather against water and stains.
3. Maintenance
Use the right techniques with the right products according to the type of leather (more details). Do not carry heavy products that could deform the bag. Storage: Store the bag in its dust bag, filled with tissue paper to maintain its shape if necessary. Keep it away from heat sources and dust.
