Smooth or pebbled?
Smooth leather has a slight sheen. It works well with office and evening outfits. On the other hand, scratches show up faster. Over time, it softens and takes on a light patina. If your bag often sits on the floor or is packed full, pebbled leather is more practical: see our pebbled leather bags.

How to care for it.
Wipe it with a soft cloth after use. Two or three times a year, apply a thin layer of leather cream, then buff. Keep it out of heavy rain. On light-colored leather, also avoid rubbing against raw denim. Store the bag in a fabric dust bag.
