What is a vegan bag made of?
The word vegan tells you what a bag doesn't contain, not what it does. There are two main families. Synthetic materials imitate leather: this is faux leather, most often made from polyurethane. Textiles and fibers, like canvas, cotton, velvet or straw, have a look of their own and don't try to resemble leather. These are mostly what you'll find here.

Start with the composition, listed on each product page. So they aren't right for you if you avoid all animal materials. Then look at the size: the selection mostly includes large tote bags for shopping, work or the beach, plus a few pouches to hold small items.
Canvas or leather: which should you choose?
A canvas bag is light and easy to live with every day. Leather develops a patina over time and lasts for years with proper care. If avoiding animal materials matters most to you, stick with canvas, cotton, velvet or straw.
